My wife and I hired Russell to shoot our wedding last November and we have to say, hands down, that is the best move we made. He not only arrived on time, but he was extremely professional in the way he shot the footage. This is not the type of video that your amateur video pro uncle shoots. Russell shoots a full-on movie. We were incredible happy with our video, especially the cinematic trailer that he does that is like a short video highlighting the wedding. Honestly, it makes me tear up everytime. Its that good. I would highly recommend RJ films. It's not the cheapest, but who wants the cheapest anyway. You get what you pay for, only with these guys, I honestly got much more than I thought we would. Very happy.

We absolutely loved Russell John Films! We were dead set on having a videographer, but many of the other companies we had seen were way out of our budget (cue sad trombone) Russell was recommended by our wedding coordinator and we were blown away by his portfolio and his affordable packages. We had our initial meeting over the phone and then worked over email with the team to make all of our arrangements. When the big day came Russell and his team blended in (many people didn't even know they were there!) and captured our day beautifully. Our family loved the cinematic trailer and couldn't wait for the feature film. We made some minor adjustments to the preview the team of the feature and they were really response and quick to make the changes. We couldn't be happier with the service they provided and would totally recommend them to any San Diego brides and grooms.

It has been almost 4 months since our wedding and we are still waiting to get the final video. But based on rough-copy they sent 2 months ago, the quality is good. Just very disappointed that they have not stuck to getting us things in a timely...

Russell was the perfect choice for videography for our wedding. From our first meeting with him, we knew he would do a fantastic job capturing the special moments of our big day. He worked with us in creating a custom package that suited our needs and budget. His professionalism and dedication to his craft are obvious, and you can tell that he actually cares about the people he works with. Although we thoroughly enjoy his company, we could barely tell he was even at the wedding! He did a great job of staying behind the scenes, while getting all the necessary shots. Our photographers also commented on how easy he was to work with and are now referring him to their clients. When we actually received the finished product, we were blown away! Every time I watch it, I am in tears (in a good way) within the first five minutes. We had selected some songs for him to use, and he also suggested some that definitely made the film better. From pre-wedding coordination, to the event, to the video editing, Russell did a fantastic job. Five stars all the way! To Russell, all I have to say is thank you, thank you, thank you!
