LOVE Kathy from Blend!! She did my makeup and hair for my boudoir session and did a beautiful job! My hair is not easy, with it being thick and long, but she managed to give it light curls that were perfect for this shoot. The eye makeup was exactly what I wanted and she gave my lips this natural but sexy feel. I definitely would recommend her and the company to anyone wanting someone who knows their stuff! She was also very sweet and easy to talk to, making the makeup session comfortable and fun.

I am from New Orleans, and I brought Kathy from Blend to Memphis to do my wedding make-up in January. She was an absolute dream - I couldn't have been happier! She did exactly what I wanted and was very concerned with making sure I was happy. She is an incredibly sweet person and I was so lucky to have her there with me! I wound up looking gorgeous and it was sad at the end of the day to take my make-up off! Thank you so much for everything!!

Ryan was so amazing to work with. She created the exact look I was going for. It was perfect and lasted the entire night. She also made all of the briidesmaids look so beautiful. You'd be crazy not to book her!

I had heard great things about Blend so was so excited to use them. Kathy was amazing during the trial and the day of my wedding. She did my makeup along with some of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked incredible! She was sweet, fun, calm and knew just what to do! I would recommend Kathy and Blend to anyone!!

I had the pleasure of working with Kathey the day of my wedding and couldn't have been more pleased! Make-up is one thing that I am pretty picky about. I am a make up junky and love MAC and Sephora and was looking for something other then that soft natural make up look, I like pretty bold make up! When I came across Blend and saw some of their pics, read some of their reviews, and then read that they were MAC certified I knew I had to set up a trial! Kathey came out to my house a few months before my wedding and did my make up trail. I showed her some pics of the look I was going for and she worked her magic! I couldn't believe what I saw when I looked at my face after the trial! It was just stunning! Then the day of the wedding it was even more stunning! All my friends sat around and watched as she did my make up and couldn't stop commenting about how beautiful my make up and I looked! I had 5 bridesmaids and my MIL and Mom also get their makeup done and they all were just blown away by there make up as well! We all requested that Kathey just come do our makeup every day! I seriously need to learn how to make myself look that outstanding, I wish I could look like that every day!

I can't tell you how wonderful Ryan at Blend is. When I began looking for a make-up artist for my wedding, price was my main deciding factor. While Ryan was my first choice based on the photos of her work on her website, her price was just a little higher than another vendor, so I contacted that vendor first. What a mistake. That vendor refused to put anything in their contract regarding pricing (?!) and when I asked if they would just include a sentence that said pricing quoted via email was valid until my wedding date, that vendor told me "no, and have a nice wedding, bye." Ridiculous.
I immediately contacted Ryan and I cannot tell you how lucky I am that the first awful vendor blew me off. Ryan was perfect - so nice and cheery, flexible with my schedule (I was planning an East Coast wedding from the West Coast and had very limited travel dates for the trial, etc.). She even did my trial while she had terrible bronchitis, because she knew I wouldn't be able to get back to the East Coast for another few months. She was always responsive by both phone and email, and was early on the day of the wedding, coming all the way to my hair dresser's salon to make things more convenient for me and my bridal party and already set up when we got there. She was kind to me and my friends and especially my mother-in-law who was just a bit nervous about the whole professional make-up thing. Ryan walked all of us through, moved quickly but kept things personal, and overall helped us to have the most wonderful day possible. Let me put it this way - it rained on my wedding day and I feel like the happiest bride ever...and a lot of that was due to Ryan's wonderful artistry and professionalism. I cannot recommend Ryan more highly - be smart and choose her for your wedding too!

Ryan at Blend is incredible! She's fun, creative, and extremely talented. Two of my bridesmaids had never had their makeup done professionally done before and were a little nervous, but they were completely ecstatic with the job Ryan did and we couldn't stop talking all day about how we want Ryan to do our makeup every day! I am so happy with Blend's services and making me look like my absolute best on my wedding day!

Ryan Krasney from Blend is fabulous, fun and fantastic!!! From our first meeting & trial makeup session through to my daughter's wedding day, Ryan was attentive, professional, funny, and very, very talented! I worked with Ryan at Blend and she is amazing. I went and saw her for a trial and she listened to everything that I had invisioned and did a wonderful job so I booked her for my wedding. Ryan is the one who made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. She does great work and is an absolute delight to work with. Thank you Ryan for making me not only feel beautiful, but so very special. We hired Blend to do makeup for me, the bride, my bridesmaids, and my mom. I had heard Kathy from Blend was fantastic, but she managed to go way beyond my already high expectations! I was planning my wedding from California and unable to do a trial, so I sent Kathy a picture and we worked from there. She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt, staying true to my vision but also making sure it suited my skin tone and features. She also made my bridesmaids look absolutely beautiful. And my mom! My mom felt so good about herself and looked awesome too. Kathy was so professional but also an absolute sweetheart and I had a ball hanging out with her.

Kathy was such a pleasure to work with and is an amazing makeup artist! She did the makeup for me (the bride), my 5 bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law. She showed up in plenty of time to get everyone done and made everyone look so amazing on my wedding day!
She was also great during the planning process. She replied to all of my emails promptly. During the trial, she really listened to what I envisioned looking like on my wedding day.
On my wedding day, she was very sweet and helped calm my nerves while getting ready! She made me look so beautiful and I received so many compliments throughout the day! I would highly recommend her for your wedding day!

Marquia Kinard did mine and my mom's makeup for my wedding day!! I loved working with her! She is so much fun, easy to talk to, and is a true makeup ARTIST!!
I tried other "makeup artists" and they asked me what colors they should use and I just kept thinking, "shouldn't you know better than me?" Marquia however sits and talks with you at the trial on what you don't like and what you do. She tries different things to make sure you absolutely love it...and you will!! My makeup stayed all night which is saying something because I sweat just sitting in an air conditioned room. The makeup stayed through my dancing plus me wiping the sweat from my face with a napkin. I am so glad I found Marquia for my wedding day!!

By the time I contacted Blend, I had already gone through 3 make up artists who could not give me the look I wanted. Nervous to schedule another trial appointment due to cost, I emailed back and forth with Ryan and Marquia with a million questions. They were both super friendly, patient and understanding about my frustrations.
At the trial, Marquia created the look that I was looking for with just 2 tries. I was so relieved! She was super sweet and made me feel very comfortable.
On my wedding day (June 16), Marquia was early and ready to go. I decided that I wanted a slightly different look than what we did at my trial and Marquia adapted to the changes easily and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. My make up was FLAWLESS. She also made the mothers look so beautiful and elegant - I have never seen my mom look more gorgeous!
Marquia worked well with my hair stylist to make sure all the ladies were done on time and with my photographer who wanted particular shots. What's even more amazing?? She went beyond her duties and ran out to my 'First Look' shoot before heading out to touch me up one last time! I really appreciated that.
My make up held throughout the day and night. Highly recommend airbrush for brides, especially if you're having a summer wedding! It's just flawless!
Blend was very responsive to emails throughout the entire process- even if they were just silly questions about make up. They are very professional, yet fun.
Whether it's high fashion, glamorous make up or romantic soft wedding make up.... I trust Marquia to get the job done exactly the way I want!

On the day of my wedding, Ryan did makeup for myself, my maid of honor, my mom, & my mother-in-law. We got the airbrush makeup and were all so happy with the result! The makeup lasted all day despite the heat & activity (the ceremony was outdoors in June and I was outside for a good portion of the reception too...plus there was lots of dancing at the end of the night). Ryan is a very kind & sweet person too, she makes you feel comfortable while getting your makeup done and is very attentive to her work. She was also on time and got all our makeup done in very good time. I definitely recommend her!!! :)

Marquia Kinard of Blend Event and her assistant Maliki Connor made the trip from MD to Charlottesville, VA, to provide on-site makeup services for me, my 7 bridesmaids, and 2 moms on my wedding day. I knew Marquia would do a fabulous job as soon as we met for our makeup trial several months before my wedding. She came to my home and did a beautiful makeup application during the trial, was very professional and responsive in all communication thereafter and leading up to my wedding day, and I knew our group of ladies would appreciate her sweet demeanor and calming presence in the bridal suite as we were all getting ready. Marquia and Maliki arrived promptly to the bridal suite and were all set up even before the moms, bridesmaids and I showed up from our earlier hair appointments! Marquia and Maliki were absolute delight to work with, and all the ladies were so pleased with the results of their makeup.
I received so many compliments on my makeup from my mom and friends, but especially from my groom! He even said that it looked like I had my makeup done with him in mind, meaning that I didn't look "made up," just "beautiful" and like myself. Having a man say that about makeup speaks volumes about Marquia's talent!
I would recommend Marquia and Blend Event very highly to any future bride!

I hired Kathy from Blend to do the makeup for my wedding day. I was so impressed at the trial that I also asked her to do the makeup for my engagement photos. I felt comfortable with her right away and she really listened to my wishes for a natural look. She travels to you, which is another great benefit of working with her!
Kathy is incredibly nice, upbeat and easy to work with, and she's an exceptional makeup artist. On my wedding day, she provided makeup services for myself, my mom, my grandmother, and three of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked beautiful, and I received several compliments on how stunning I looked. I'm 100% sure the reason for that was Kathy's remarkable makeup artistry. I highly recommend...

Not only is Ryan one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, she is an excellent make up artist! She was very professional, easy to coordinate with and was so flexible. She did an amazing job on me, my bridesmaids and my mom - everyone looked so gorgeous and their make up stayed on the entire night! I would not hesitate to hire Ryan for your wedding day. I wouldn't have felt as beautiful as i did if it wasn't for Ryan - she really knows how to enhance your natural beauty and use the best colors for your skin tone, eye color, and hair color.
