I could not be happier with my choice to use Angela for my make-up services! She's the sweetest person in the world and insanely talented with make-up. I was completely at ease and relaxed around her which is so important on your wedding day when you want to be able to be present and enjoy the day. My family loved her and she fit right in while everyone was hanging out pre-wedding. I highly recommend her!!

The ladies at Behind the Veil are absolutely amazing!! I had Maria do my hair and Melanie did the makeup for my bridal party. Everyone turned out fantastic. My hair and makeup lasted all day, and still looked gorgeous at the end of the night. My bridesmaids, mother and mother in law all had their makeup done and each was thrilled with the results. Maria and Melanie were so fun and helpful and really helped us to feel pampered on the big day. The trial was easy, and even when I changed my mind about my hair, Maria was accommodating. They were on time and worked with my group until everyone was happy. Love them and the results!

All I can say is WOW. My mother, mother-in-law, and I all got our hair and makeup done by Kristi (hair) and Melanie (makeup) from Behind the Veil. I could not believe how stunning we all looked. The trials were so fun and I didn't even need to go into detail about what I wanted. I basically said "do what you think would look good on me" and they sure delivered! They come to you and will really make you feel at ease before your wedding. Also, corresponding with Maria, the co-founder, was fantastic. She was very quick at getting back to me and always kept me up to date! I would recommend Behind the Veil to everyone!

I didn't want typical wedding makeup and Angela of Behind the Veil was a professional and patient artist who took my vision of a modern 'MadMen' look, brought it to life, and perfected it! I was a picky bride (usually I'm a people pleaser) but Angela was easy to talk to and was more-than-willing to try different looks to get everything just right (she wanted perfection as much as I did)- it was like playing makeup with an old friend. Behind the Veil responded promptly and they walked me through every part of the process. On the day of my wedding the bridal sweet was serene and I felt pampered while having my hair and makeup done by Behind the Veil. I felt gorgeous. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I was scrambling last minute for a makeup artist and through my photographer's recommendation, I found Behind the Veil. The studio was conveniently located for my trial with Heather, who did a fantastic job. She was able to create the exact look I wanted and was friendly and professional. Angela, of Behind the Veil, was also there and made sure I was happy with the makeup. Angela was very timely in her communications and coordinating the makeup artists arrival. Heather from Behind the Veil created a beautiful makeup look for myself, my bridesmaids, and mother.

I am so happy that I chose Behind the Veil for my bridal makeup. The makeup artist Angela did a fantastic job! I got so many compliments about my flawless and elegant makeup. The prices are also very reasonable. You couldn't ask for a better deal for your wedding day. I look back on my pictures and I'm still very pleased with my decision =)

First things first: My makeup photographed amazingly well! I had my doubts when it came to someone else doing my hair and makeup. Even after the trial I was nervous. I looked good, but what if they forgot the little changes I wanted? What if the foundation didn’t match after I had been tanning? What if I looked like a clown? My worries were unwarranted, because don't think I've ever looked so pretty! Not only did my hair and makeup look incredible, but my mom looked the most beautiful I had ever seen her in my entire life! I was so impressed at the abilities of the different artists to emphasize the best qualities of our multi-ethnic hair and facial features. They were on schedule, responsive to my questions, professional, and FUN!

I was very happy with the hair and makeup that Behind the Veil provided for me and my bridesmaids. Nichole did our makeup, which looked awesome and held up thoughout the entire night. One of my bridesmaids was crying throughout the entire ceremony, and her makeup was not affected at all! Leanna did our hair, and she was able to create the exact style that I wanted, and it also lasted all night. The girls were super nice and great to work with. Highly recommended!

I just used Behind the Veil for the hair and make-up of my four bridesmaids and myself. Nichole handed our make-up, and did a beautiful job with each bridesmaid. For me, she listened to my preferences and did a stunning job, giving me high-impact, smoky eyes with long lashes and bronzed, blushed cheeks. I received many compliments throughout the night on my "Hollywood look," which is fitting since Nichole told me her inspiration was Natalie Portman.
Maria styled our hair, and did a great job providing each bridesmaid with a unique style that fit each persons hair, including one bridesmaid with very long hair--down to the small of her back. Maria is very sweet, high energy, and flexible- I provided her with some handmaid hairpieces (actually derived from my bridal gown- gossamer butterflies), and she did a beautiful job placing them within the up-do. I had Maria and Heather (Baker) for my wedding day and they were AMAZING!!! Maria got my hair style that I wanted better than I could imagined and Heather got my makeup to look still like me but a little more glamorous for my wedding day! They were the sweetest ladies and I felt completely comfortable, they even did hair and makeup for some of my bridal party and they were happy and all looked beautiful!!! They were on time with the schedule and that is important on the wedding day, they made sure I was ready in enough time to get some pictures with my photographer. Maria even stayed to touch up my hair after getting my dress on, she didn't leave until we all left from the hotel room to head to the venue. I would rcommend this company to any bride, you won't be disappointed!!!! I looked absolutely beautiful on the most special day of my life, thanks Heather and Maria!

Behind the Veil are AWESOME! I would highly recommend them. I meet Angela at my food tasting where there were many vendors at the venue. I do not live in Maryland anymore and my time is very limited every time I come back to Maryland. During my food tasting, Angela said she would squeeze me in for a trial run and they were able to do both hair and make-up. I thought that was very nice of Angela since this was very last minute. Several of my family members had their hair and make-up done by them as well. All throughout the day, myself and my family members were receiving many compliments of how great we all looked. It was extremely windy on my wedding day and after spending about 45 minutes outside taking pictures, my hair still stayed in place. Everyone at Behind the Veil is nice and friendly!

Behind The Veil, LLC was Absolutely fantastic through every phase of my daughter's wedding! I highly recommend them and can not say enough great things about my overall experience. I worked closely with Angela, Maria and Melanie. I made arrangements for the entire bridal party as my daughter (the bride) lives in FL and was in flight training during most of the wedding planning. The Behind the Veil staff was extremelly flexible and helpful through each phase of planning. In the end, Maria and Melanie made all 6 of us beautiful with both hair and make-up. They stayed with us until the photographer arrived and even provided some unexpected make-up services for a few people! They were AWESOME!!!!! Thanks again to Maria, Melanie and Angela for making this daily truly special and memorable.

Behind the Veil was simply fabulous! I don't wear much makeup in everyday life, so I was very concerned about looking overly made up for the wedding. I couldn't have been happier with the way my hair and makeup turned out. I never felt more beautiful and I have Maria and Nichole to thank for that. There was a small "hiccup" in the scheduling (they wanted to move my appointment up by 3 hours, which would have interfered with other plans). In the end, they went out of their way to accommodate me. Even with this issue, I'd still highly recommend them. Just be sure and nail your appointment time down ahead of time.
