About Me:

Hello I'm Victoria Stiles, a makeup artist and hair stylist based in Washington DC. I live in a small Northern Virginia suburb and enjoy spending time with my family and two rescue dogs. My passion for artistry started at a young age and I pursed a career in makeup while attending college at George Mason University. I majored in Communications but quickly knew where I wanted to direct my career path. In 2004, I created my company Victoria Stiles Makeup providing makeup services for brides. My business quickly gained popularity and I started to provide services for television, visiting celebrities to the DC area, print, and commercial projects in addition to bridal makeup. This field has provided me with some of the most fabulous opportunities including work in Paris in the Fall of 2008 to working one of the most notable events in fashion-- New York Fashion Week. I bring this worldwide experience and knowledge in beauty to each and every one of my brides and clients.

About My Business

After years of working in the cosmetics field for a popular beauty brand, I founded Victoria Stiles Makeup and branched out on my own as a freelance artist. Working with a bride on her wedding day is an honor and I enjoy each step of the way. From the first point of contact, to the trial, and planning the timeline leading up to the ceremony, each wedding I am a part of is a unique experience. I am thankful to have developed a successful business that, at one time, was considered a part-time gig. Within the past few years, I have branched out into other areas of the makeup field and now provide services for television, print, and celebrities in addition to bridal events. I am also part of a team of artists working one of the most notable fashion events in the world, New York Fashion Week. My credits include publications such as Glamour and Ladies Home Journal and I have worked with some lovely celebrities including American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and CSI: NY's Gary Sinise. My experiences in this industry are simply amazing and I look forward to sharing my advice, tips, tricks, and DIY info through Wedding Aces!

My Proudest Accomplishment

Working as the Key Artist for a documentary about the Pentagon Memorial. To be a part of such a moving project and to work with a gracious actor in Gary Sinise was beyond words.

My Favorite Pasttime

Watching Netflix movies with my husband and playing with my two rescue dogs, Mason and Fredo

Why I Love My Profession

I think it would be a dream for most girls to be able to play with makeup all day, right? I am blessed to work with lovely brides to enhance their look for their big day. It is an honor when a bride books me for her wedding!
