I'm an event planner, lifestyle consultant and a savvy Southerner who learned the art of entertaining at the hem of my mother’s skirt. About My Business

My company, Tara Wilson Events, is located in Fort Worth, Texas and is a full service event planning company. We're committed to providing creative, well-executed, and memorable events for individual and corporate clients. Here at TWE we design and coordinate events ranging, from weddings and themed parties to corporate gatherings and galas. At the beginning of 2009 I launched a new division of my company called Savvy Sweets: Stylish Dessert-Scapes where we create one-of-a-kind dessert tables. They’re perfect for the discerning bride who is looking for something truly unexpected and they'll add the Wow! factor to any event. They’re perfect as favors tables or alternatives to traditional wedding and grooms cakes and these stylish desserts can be customized to compliment any couple’s theme.

For me, when I bride is brought to tears by our designs...when we've captured the emotion and experience that she envisioned...that makes me proud.

Why I Love My Profession

Every day I dream and create. I play with fabric and ribbon samples, sketch designs, select paper samples, walk the aisle at the craft store, plan centerpieces, and work with amazing clients. Now, don't get me wrong, it's hard work running a business but I sure love what I do...that makes its a blast!
