About Me:

My wife and I own and operate Piece of Cake Desserts, a wedding cake specialty shop in the Phoenix Metro Area. We are lucky enough to create hundreds of wedding cakes for incredible couples every year. I have been happily married for 14 years to the real talent behind Piece of Cake, my wife Amy. We don't have the super cool first meeting story... we met in a club. :) It was August of 1994 and just 5 days and 1 phone conversation later I proclaimed to my mother that I had found "her". Indeed I had... in December of 1994 I bought the ring and we were married in July of 1995, just 11 months after we had been total strangers. I am really just a regular guy lucky enough to be in a fantastic business! I love playing golf, watching sports on TV, and eating things that are horrible for me. I'm not so much a regular guy when it comes to wedding stuff, I watch every wedding related show that my dish delivers (thank goodness for DVR's) and I know an obscene amount about wedding cake design and construction. I also really love cake. No lie, I eat some cake every single day I am in the shop, so if you were wondering what kind of person eats cake every day, now you know. Why I Love My Profession

I know it's cliche' but I really do love what I do! Every single day I am working with couples that are in the middle of one of the the happiest times of their lives. It’s really an incredible job. It doesn't hurt that everybody loves the guy with the cake! :)
