About Me:
Jody grew up in Alabama and Pennsylvania, and graduated with a bachelor of arts from Westminster College. She has been happily married since 1988 (yes! 21 years!) and has enjoyed operating a catering company with her husband Richard for over 12 years. Jody is an avid reader, writer and lover of all things arts related from theater to opera. A shopaholic by her own admission, Jody enjoys home decorating, gardening and spending time shopping with her daughters Caitlyn (13) and Makenzie (12). Oh...and of course cooking! Traveling is also a love with many trips serving as professional culinary inspirations as well as relaxation. A member of good standing in the International Caterers Association, Jody enjoys immersing herself in the professional knowledge offered by the amazing catering peers within membership of the group. But above all...we live for our brides!
About My Business
Our catering company is full service all the way. We bring everything to the table necessary to ensure a fabulous and scrumptious event. We have been in business for over 12 years starting with our historic restaurant venue and bakery and moving on into full-service catering. Through the years we have adopted the most sustainable techniques with a commitment to the least waste and the best biproducts, while not sacrificing quality. We love what we do, and hope that reflects in each event we service.
My Proudest Accomplishment
My proudest accomplishment can't really be summed up in one specific task or end result...it is more the culmination of everything Rick and I have worked so hard to achieve. Each happy bride and groom is an accomplishment to be relished. Each thrilled client is an achievement to relect upon.
My Favorite Pasttime
reading, theater, travel and cooking
Why I Love My Profession
I love my profession because it is NEVER mundane, always unique, never exactly the same and always a challenge that keeps me growing professionally and as a person. It is a constant process of creating magic and indelible memories. It is a celebration of beginnings and endings. What's not to love?
