About Me:

Hi! I am a Washington, DC native currently living in Bethesda, MD with my husband, Andrew, and our two dogs, Ralph and Alice, named after the Honeymooners. I am a huge fan of old black and white movies, and every chance I get I watch the classics! I don't cook at all (but am an excellent taste tester), so I am very lucky my husband is an excellent cook - otherwise I would live off of Frosted Flakes and peanut butter!

About My Business

I have been a part of the wedding industry in one form or another for over 10 years! My experience in the industry began when I started working for a high-end caterer in the Washington, DC area, and I soon discovered weddings were a passion. After catering, I was the Event Manager for a venue in DC where I planned and coordinated weddings. I then decided to break out on my own and wrote a business plan using my experience to open a bridal salon in Bethesda, MD. Currently, I author my own wedding and life blog, and am a contributing freelance writer for several wedding industry blogs.

My Proudest Accomplishment

Professionally, it would have to be opening my bridal shop. Conceptualizing a business and bringing it to life was one of my proudest moments!

My Favorite Pasttime

I am a girl with a lot of hobbies! Currently, my favorites are learning Japanese, Pilates, and photography.

Why I Love My Profession

I love weddings for the celebratory send-off into the next phase of life that they are! Being a part of that process and helping people along the way is so fulfilling!
