Pretty in Purple Fall Wedding in New Jersey

Timothy and Shawna came to Abacus Wedding Studios in January of 2012 for their November 2012 wedding. Having read the reviews on WeddingWire, the couple selected Damian as their videographer and Michelle as their photographer.

Michelle and Damian were both excited, since they selected Hamilton Park, in Weehaken, New Jersey as one of their formal photo locations, which also happens to have one of the most spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, as you can see.

With purple as one of the top color schemes in 2012 and 2013, Shawna’s bridal preparation offers both inspiration and ideas from shoes to flowers for a bride-to-be.

After taking their formal photos, the couple and bridal party proceeded to St. Patrick’s Church in Staten Island for a beautiful ceremony.

From St. Patrick’s Church the couple headed toward Stirling, New Jersey where The Primavera Regency¬†was awaiting their arrival.

With over 40 years of restaurant and catering excellence, the Ferraro family assures each couple that their reception will be nothing less than exceptional. From exquisite cuisine to luxurious decor, each couple and their guests will experience personalized service and hospitality.

The couple also made a donation on behalf of their guests, which has become a popular trend, and a great benefit to the charities, who receive the always needed and always appreciated donations.

From the dance floor to the ice sculpture, our staff captured every special moment of the day and even included a cameo from a wedding regular. The family pet!

We thank Shawna and Timothy for the opportunity to capture their wedding day and all the great photo locations, which provided endless backdrops for a lifetime of memories.

I love the look of this wedding, especially with the beautiful city as a backdrop for the ceremony. The purple adds a sense of extravagance…and those shoes! My God! I want them!!!
