Real Animated Bridal Portraits

My poor wife gets dragged along every time I want to experiment with a new lighting technique in the studio or try out some new piece of equipment. Yesterday it was easier than usual to convince her because I was going to be photographing her in her wedding dress. In addition to shooting some nice studio portraits, I shot some cinemagraphs, which are simple animations like you see here with the blowing wedding dress.
Cinemagraphs are relatively new on the scene. I have mostly seen them on fashion shoots, but soon expect them to show up in online displays of wedding photography (including my own). So stay tuned for more!
