Yesterday we got a little glimpse of the hard work, unparalleled creativity, and dedication that David Tutera directs into the success of his dynamic event planning and design company, his television show My Fair Wedding, and in giving back to his industry.  But, it doesn’t end there.  David has also developed some amazing wedding related product lines to assist brides in achieving their own “Fair Weddings.”  It’s almost as good as having him by your side while you plan.

First up… his beautiful line of bridal gowns David Tutera by Faviana.  “Inspired by the red carpet, worn on the white carpet,” this collaborative effort with Faviana has produced a bevy of gorgeous wedding gowns an in array of fashion forward stylings.

Q. What is your favorite wedding gown silhouette in today’s bridal gown market?

A. I am crazy about the Madison gown. I love the silhouette, how elegant and regal it looks. What a fun twist to a classic silhouette!

Q. Do you have a “must share” tip for brides as they shop for their dream dress?

A. The dress that you think might be your end all, be all dress might not be “the one” at all! Think outside the box and be adventurous with trying on types of gowns you never considered before. You’d be surprised by which dress you fall in love with. Don’t hesitate to try on tons of styles!

David has assisted you in finding the perfect wedding gown…next you need bridal jewelry that is stunning, and he has thought of that too.  Enter the Bridal Jewelry at Sears that features four distinct collections {Heirloom, Radiance, Legacy and Eternal} designed to suit different tastes.

Q. Which of the 4 C’s do you feel is most important when selecting bridal jewelry? And Why?

A. I feel that the “4 C’s” are all equally as important when it comes to bridal jewelry. What I think matters most is defining what type of bride you are first and then choosing your bridal jewelry from there. Think about the style and look that you want and decide if you’re a traditional type of bride, modern bride, classic bride, and so forth. This should help you figure out styling and then proceed to defining your 4 C’s.

Q. Are you enjoying your “Love Notes” blogging experiences on Sears.com?  ( Loved the Food for Thought entry about planning your wedding menu.)

A. I am having so much FUN with this blog! I am able to write about all of the elements of planning an event in a streamlined, focused forum where readers are able to keep up with the most recent trends I’m finding in this industry. I love being able to do this on the Sears website.

*Tip from me: {Make sure to watch David’s informative jewelry selection videos that are featured on Sears.com including perfect proposal tips for your groom! }

With so many amazing David Tutera branded products currently available, I know you didn’t think he would leave out reception decor.  And of course he has not.  Joining with JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores across the nation, the new Down the Aisle in Style bridal collection launched in January and became available in stores nationwide on February 1st.

With a touch of imagination and these innovative accessories and embellishments, brides can create lavish wedding attire, décor & favors at a fraction of the cost. In addition, each product will lend David’s expertise and provide helpful “Tutera Tips” to assist bride’s with creative ideas straight from the wedding planner himself. As a result, brides-to-be will be able to affordably access a celebrity-caliber wedding planner, helping to make one of the most anticipated days of their life even more extraordinary.

Q. What was your motivation behind the “Down the Aisle in Style” wedding accessory line?

A. I want the most beautiful décor elements that viewers see in My Fair Wedding to be accessible to every bride. What’s so great about this line is that it truly makes beautiful crystals and pearl adornments accessible to everyone whether you’re budget-conscious or going for a DIY look. I think all brides deserve a dream wedding.

Q. What is your favorite “Tutera Tip” from the line?

A. I can’t tell you how often we’ve used the adhesive products in my collection. The line has a couple styles of self-stick rhinestones and they’re so easy to work with. You can adorn candles, escort cards, vases, bouquet handles, any décor element! They add character to so many different pieces…and what bride says no to sparkle?

Three exciting product lines created for today’s bride by the man awarded Life & Style magazine’s “Best Celebrity Wedding Planner” distinction.  That’s impressive!  Thank you so much David for graciously taking the time to answer questions and to share your amazing creativity.   Caitlyn and I will faithfully continue our mother-daughter ritual of viewing on Sunday nights to see where your bridal adventures take you this season.

Oh…I know you thought I forgot…I didn’t.  David’s top trend color forecast for all things floral, decor, linen and apparel at your Fall 2011-2012 wedding is………..   RED!
