As if a stunning rustic reception environment created with gorgeous leather seating vignettes, sensational natural chandeliers and Vineyard feasting tables wasn’t enough to ensure an unforgetable wedding day, the award winning amazing culinary staff at Culinary Crafts created such a memorable menu with layers of components that were delicious and approachable and just…well, DELECTABLE…see for yourself…
Owner, Mary Crafts, adored working with John and Kelsey Mellor to create their dream nuptials. She shares below a bit about the event styling and the scrumptious menu elements:
Some weddings exceed all dreams and this wedding is certainly one of them. I loved every step of planning this amazing celebration and I hope you catch the ecstasy of this memorable evening. Guests arrived to butler-passed hors d’oeuvres and a creative bar featuring a Summer Fruit Sangria and Blue Moon Beer to reflect the theme of the couple’s love story…”Such a love only comes around once in a Blue Moon.” Following the wedding ceremony, the tent was transformed into an elegant dining room featuring our new Vineyard tables with fruitwood chivari chairs. A formal plated dinner for 150 guests was served next, and Culinary Crafts then presented abundant stations to an additional 400 guests as they arrived to dance, laugh and celebrate with John and Kelsey.
Roasted Corn Cake with fresh Mango Salsa and Cilantro Creme Fraiche, Sun-dried Fig filled with Stilton Cheese and wrapped in Maple Bacon, Skewered Lemon-marinated Tortellini with Roasted Tomato and Basil, and Thai Scallop and Lemongrass Sticks with Pineapple Soy Dip. Yummmmmm…
The formal plated duo entree dinner was served at long feasting tables and began with a first course of Roasted Beet, Drake Family Farm Goat Cheese & Orange salad, and continued with Pan-seared Alaskan Sable Fish marinated in Utah Honey & Soy served over Wilted Spinach and Parsnip Puree, and Grilled Chili Lime Flank Steak on Potato Rafts with Salpicon Dressings, Avocado and Shaved Asiago.
Casual celebration stations with a “Western Americana” theme included Western BBQ brisket, a Retro Slider station with gourmet condiments, Italian “Pizzette” station, and a Southwestern snack bar with 3 varities of fresh salsa, gourmet tortilla chips, fried slices of crispy yucka and beet chips and a host of other savory things!
And what reception would be complete without an extraordinary candy and dessert station? Color coordinated chocolate, gold and cream candies were displayed in vintage glass, along with cupcake minis and updated chef torched S’mores. Butler-passed gourmet Italian gelato in a variety of flavors also delighted the guests.
