Jackets, shawls and big bold accessories. The head pieces, they are not the princess tiara any more. I see more big nice shiny hair pins and accessories and what about the Bird cage veils, it’s in again. I guess they are more comfortable, less complicated and easy to use. I personally love them!

Bold colors vs. soft colors of 2009

Using different shades of the same color for bridesmaid
Bridesmaids in different types and even more casual fabrics than before
Maybe a bit shorter and non-traditional dress for your bridesmaids
A wedding dress that is not white!! Maybe tea-length!
and what about him? Rent a tuxedo? forget it. How about your best suit, just use it.
After all we all live in the same economy and as you know by now from my previous blogs I am the biggest fan of saving and using what you have to personalize your big day. So if you have a nice shawl that you love or a pair of shoes that is your favorite and makes you feel good why not wear them on your wedding.
Each and every one of us can be a trend setter, who knows which bride wore the pink shoes first!!! or who was it that used her mother’s brooch as a hair piece?…as simple and as easy as that.
Be well!

I hear what you’re saying about saving money! If you don’t want to just wear a suit to the wedding, another good option is a previously owned tuxedo. Google ‘used tuxedo’ or check out MyOwnTuxedo.com to see what’s available!
