Puppy Love

For many people, their dog is as much a member of the family as any sister or brother. Since weddings are about (among other things) celebrating an important moment with loved ones, it’s natural to want to include Fido. Think what you may about including pooches in weddings, but try to remember that, for many, it’s an expression of the couple and their definition of family. Plus, for me (a dog lover, admittedly), the pictures are so cute!

My fiancé and I have a dog who we would LOVE to have in the wedding. However, I don’t know what we would do with her for the remainder of the wedding. So, we’ve decided to do a post-wedding photo shoot, a few weeks after the wedding. A “trash the dress”, without trashing the dress. I’ll put my dress back on, my fiancé will put his tux back on, and we’ll go downtown with our dog and walk around and get some pictures with her. This will let us get some pictures with her, without worrying if she jumps up on my dress and gets me dirty.
