Not in a White Dress

Where is it written that brides must wear a white bridal gown? Before Queen Victoria chose to wear a white wedding dress, many brides wore any color they wanted on their wedding day. A romantic, dramatic way to express yourself, I have been seeing a rainbow assortment of gowns everywhere, and a bride in color is just as lovely, as these ladies prove!

A bride should be able to wear whatever she wants on her wedding day! These dresses are beautiful and if they make the bride feel like a bride, that is all that matters. I am not a huge fan of the short navy one but mostly because it looks like a bridesmaid dress. The other 4 have a very wedding dress feel despite the color.

I’m with gray on this one. The bride should pick what works for her but the navy one looks like she caught the bouquet.

Hooray for color! The pale blue is my fave!
