Valentine’s Day 2010 is approaching fast and for already married, newly engaged, or just around the corner from getting that rock, love is in the air! This lovely holiday marks many couples anniversaries or days of special occurrences (first day you met, first dates, first kisses, etc.). Some of you this Valentine’s Day might be saying “Yes” and your wedding planning is just about to begin. If this is the case, this is a perfect to plan a Valentine’s Day wedding for the next year in honor of the anniversary and just the romanticism that Valentine’s Day brings.
Soo if you are considering planning a Romantic Valentine’s Day wedding here are a few great ideas to help you brainstorm your perfect and romantic day!
First off, think of a location that just screams romantic! It does not have to be super small and intimate, but small romantic venues such as country inns, bed & breakfasts, or wineries are all great choices. Historical castles or mansions are also perfect settings for a more fairytale vibe.
Obviously when considering colors for your Valentine’s Day wedding, reds and pinks are the first to come to mind. You can use these reds and pinks, while also bringing in deep burgundies, maroons, and purples. Deep colors often tend to be more dramatic than pastels and can be accented by some of the lighter colors that you may wish to incorporate as well.
As for wedding party favors, consider chocolates, romantic candles, or toasting glasses for your guests to celebrate their own relationships on this holiday. Red roses placed on every table and around the venue is the perfect Valentine flower.
Even if you chose to not celebrate your Wedding on Valentine’s Day, make sure to let your loved one know this Valentine’s how much you love them!
