Roseanne Asks: Suggestions for a beach-themed wedding shower?

My Goddaughter is getting married this July.  She has a beachy theme.  We are giving her a house shower in June.  I am trying to come up with flowers centerpiece ideas that don’t break the bank and I can do myself. She is using shells and hydrangea (blue & white)& other white accents and raffia bows for the wedding pieces.  Any ideas on centerpieces for the shower that will stick with her theme?

To go with the beach theme, how about sandblasted manzanita beaches inserted into clear glass containers filled with sand? You can also accent the tops of the sand with shells.

To go with the wedding’s hydrangea theme, all white hydrangea are easy to arrange because they are so large and you don’t need to many. Just a few stems of white hydrangea in a white, square ceramic container would be very South Beach modern. You can also tie some raffia around the containers and glue a shell to the bow.

Use white enamel tin pails to place the hydrangeas in. The pail give the beach theme and you still have the elegance.
