Red Wedding Inspiration
I am in love with this red wedding. I thought it would be fun to share not only the flowers but the photography as well. The bride was extraordinarily beautiful. I loved her gown, her hair piece, and the decor. I loved how dramatic this wedding was, and we can thank K. Thompson Photography for capturing the day with her amazing photography.
I love this image of my bride and groom. The only white flowers of the day were carried by the bride.
White Bridal Bouquet
The all white bridal bouquet was created with roses, hydrangea, freesia and stephanotis blossoms. For an additional touch we added pearl pins into the stephanotis.
We attached a silver locket to the handle of the bouquet. This was extremely sentimental to my bride. I love the idea of attaching something precious to the bouquet.
Here comes the red. We used red and burgundy roses, gerbers, tulips, and ranunculus to make these very rich bouquets. They looked stunning against the maids dresses. We used gardenia leaves to collar the bouquets.
The same blossoms were used to line the aisle and to create two styles of awesome centerpieces. The focus was to be on the red flowers, and my bride wanted as few greens as possible in the design. I was allowed to collar the pieces with greenery. In order to keep us on budget we used carnations. Using only roses would have made these pieces extremely expensive. The carnations took the place of greens; we inserted them low into the design and put the roses on top of the carnations.
