A Holiday Wedding: Hair and Makeup

‘Tis the season for a holiday themed wedding! I recently worked on a bridal shoot themed for such an occasion. We chose the elegant Stone Manor Country Club in Frederick, Maryland. Genevieve Leiper provided the photography while Wedding Ace’s own Holly Chapple provided the floral arrangements.
For the make-up, I chose red lips (of course!) and gently emphasized the eyes with a stroke of liquid liner on the top lid only. I exaggerated the lashes with a few coats of mascara and kept the cheek color soft by using a cream blush in a flushed shade.
For the hair, I chose a retro inspired side-swept updo, complete with flower hair pins courtesy of Hitched Bridal Salon in Georgetown DC.
Leigh Ann from Hitched Bridal Salon modeled an ivory tulle Oscar De La Renta gown.
