Very Seasonal Evergreen Bouquets

Evergreen Bouquet

Evergreen Bouquet

I harvested my first batch of evergreens today. I had so much fun making these beautiful seasonal bouquets. Evergreens are so rich in texture, color and fragrance that they are perfect for bouquets. Evergreens are extremely hardy and will not wilt. In fact, fresh cut evergreens will last weeks, sometimes months.  This bouquet was created with boxwood, blue spruce, cryptomeria, and ewe bush. To keep it subtle and clean, we did not use fresh flowers. I added pods and kiwi vine to make the bouquet interesting. This bouquet would be perfect for a late fall wedding, all the way through the winter. I have had several girls use this type of bouquet for a green wedding.

Evergreen Bouquet With Red Blossoms

In this bouquet we took the same evergreens and added beautiful red blossoms.  We featured ranunculus, coxcomb, pineapple sage, and black beauty roses all in red. This bouquet would be perfect for a Christmas wedding. I honestly love it so much, that I think you could use it all year long. The pineapple sage gives the bouquet a more herby look rather than typical holiday.

Evergreens With White Snapdragons

This bouquet was created by gathering up a cluster of white snapdragons. We collared the bouquet with seeded eucalyptus and boxwood. To add a little something special, I added green sweet william flowers. This bouquet is so simple in design, but it is so pleasing in appearance. I used iridescent green gold ribbon, the simple little bow adds to the charm.

An interesting color twist for the holidays is the introduction of pink. Pink combined with evergreens and burgundy can be a very rich and dramatic color combination. We used pink cabbage roses in this bouquet, red coxcomb, and black beauty roses. I also took the green sweet William that was featured in the last bouquet and painted it dark burgundy with a paint that is for fresh flowers. I collared the bouquet with the boxwood and cedar. The dark burgundy satin ribbon adds to the boldness of the bouquet.

I hope you love these bouquets. I created them just for you!
