Green is the New White

With all the sophisticated, green ready-to-wear clothing available and leading the way, eco-conscious bridal gowns are, I am happy to report, a growing trend in bridal. From edgy and modern to classic, every style aesthetic is available from designers like Adele Wechsler, Amy Kuschel, Claire Pettibone, Blushless, Lea-Ann Belter, and Punk Rock Bride.
In bridal, “green” does not exclusively mean all natural fabrics. Eco-consciousness extends to reworking and rethinking how the business of manufacturing bridal gowns is done. By choosing not to outsource the production of gowns overseas, using offcuts and remnants, and making ethical fabric choices, forward thinking designers are going green!
