Monique Lhuillier creates whimsical, feminine gowns with incredible embellishments in luxurious fabrics. Full, romantic skirts and the use of lace details are consistently found in her collections and, while her designs are fashion forward, they retain a sense of tradition.
Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2010 collection had me breathless from start to finish, and not just because we were packed like sardines on thin wooden benches! As each gown floated toward us and then breezed by, the intricate details and depth in each gown were astounding. Filled with rosettes, flowers, embroidery, beading, draping, and lace, no one detail stood out from the rest until the gown was upon us and we could take them all in. Ethereal and a little magical, brides looking for a sophisticated gown with a hint of tradition will find it in Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2010 collection.
