New Trend: Wheat Grass Card Display

Every so often we see some really creative escort card displays. I believe this is one of the best places to theme your wedding reception. The table is a perfect spot to get creative!
I’m loving this new trend of using wheat grass to display escort cards. Here’s an example from a wedding we just planned:

Here’s another from a different wedding. This grass covered the whole top of a round table instead of just being in display boxes. In this scenario we used popsicle sticks to help the cards stand straight:

We also recycled the beautiful grass table! I love when we can use a decor piece twice. The bride and groom wrapped favors in these little neon bags and we put them out at the end of the night:

This isn’t really a new trend, but rather a resurrected one. I was doing wheat grass over 5 years ago. I think it is a trend worthy of a comeback though.

Being certified growers of organic wheat, and having grown it myself for juicing; I have to say I LOVE this idea. The wheatgrass is very beautiful as it naturally develops water droplets on the ends while it is growing. Very refreshing idea to use as decorating!
