Tropical Flowers Designed With Common Garden Flowers

This wedding was a absolute delicious and unexpected combination of flowers. My bride wanted designs full of daisies and tulips. My mother of the bride wanted in her words ” to take it up a notch”.
Bringing both the mother and the daughter’s desired look together was a complete pleasure and actually inspired unique designs. Good designers should be able to bring several different ideas, looks or styles together. This is very helpful when several members of the family have a vote in the overall look of the wedding.
These pieces were loaded in the brides requested blooms as well as some more expensive and what I call ” sexy blossoms” to make mom happy.

This mantel piece has the bride’s Daisies, Gerber Daisies and some of the basics. To enrich the arrangements we used the Anthurium, Birds of Paradise and a flower called Eremurus. We also used this combination of flowers to create the altar flowers, as well as arrangements at the entrance.

The centerpieces really focused on the brides request of daisies and tulips but we added the mini red Dendrobium Orchids, as well as a bright red Poppy.

I would encourage all brides to find vendors that really listen. It is from the combined imagination of talented designers and inspired families that truly memorable weddings are created. This event was a complete beauty and I could have never come up with these pieces without the help of the family.
